NUNNINGTON PARK FARM
Reviews
This is a campsite located on a working farm. A great location with facilities which are clean with some vending machines offering local produce. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and there was plenty of space between pitches. There are some lovely walks to local villages and pubs. Alison and her team are on hand to answer questions as well. We really enjoyed our visit and we will be back soon. Thank you.
Stayed here for the first time as an impromptu stop, called last minute but very accommodating and very peaceful with top class facilities.
Would highly recommend. We will definitely be returning soon.
Beautiful & peaceful campsite. Everything you need & more (the vending machines are incredible đ€©). The facilities were spotless & loved the size of the site as youâre not far away from anything. Lemon Drizzle cake was delicious, thanks for our very short but very sweet stay! The name blackboards are a really cute touch too.
Fantastic site. Well organised, very clean and masses of really hot water from the showers, always a big tick in the box. Alison is a great host, if not around when you arrive there is a chalk board with your name on advising where to go, she then hunts you down and provides a warm welcome and top tips for the area. The site really is lovely, we spent seven night there and could not have asked for more. would highly recommend.
Just spent 6 nights at Nunnington Park in glorious September weather! Facilities were excellent and scrupulously clean A warm welcome from the owner and lots of local information available Thank you!
We have just returned from a 6 night stay at Nunnington Park farm. We had a very pleasant stay, with Alison the owner being very welcoming and full of local knowledge which helped us plan our outings. The site is part of a large farm which produces beef but the site is just off the main drive with plenty of room to manoeuvre even the largest of vans. All grass pitches within a maximum of 100yds from the facilities which were spotlessly clean. The water points are fairly handy but there are only 3 or four on the site. There was also a couple of card operated vending machines from which you can purchase local beers and ciders and also a selection of locally produced butchery products, plus a couple of Alisons home made chocolate cakes which are highly recommended. There is no drive over waste outlet but it was no hassle to empty our tank by bucket. We were towing a car and came from the North via the M5 J26 which left about 5/6 miles of quite narrow roads from Wellington. In future I would leave at J25 and come via the Taunton ring road. This just leaves a mile of narrow roads to the site from the junction in Wiveliscombe and we found it much easier going when we returned that way. All in all, a very pleasant stay, highly recommended and we will certainly visit again as it is handily placed for exploring the towns of Tiverton, Lynton, Taunton, and the Exmoor area.
Just returned from a weekâs camping at this gem of a campsite, and we want to go back already! It is a small site, but there is plenty of space, and mid-week it was only us and one other family overnight. The facilities are very clean and well maintained, and we enjoyed the homemade cider cake from the vending fridge. Best of all we received a lovely welcome from Alison who took the time to recommend plenty of places to visit. We ate at The Bear đ» in Wivey twice – itâs a very friendly pub and conveniently close by. If youâre looking for countryside views, nature, stars, and friendly people, this is the site for you.
