We have just returned from a 6 night stay at Nunnington Park farm. We had a very pleasant stay, with Alison the owner being very welcoming and full of local knowledge which helped us plan our outings. The site is part of a large farm which produces beef but the site is just off the main drive with plenty of room to manoeuvre even the largest of vans. All grass pitches within a maximum of 100yds from the facilities which were spotlessly clean. The water points are fairly handy but there are only 3 or four on the site. There was also a couple of card operated vending machines from which you can purchase local beers and ciders and also a selection of locally produced butchery products, plus a couple of Alisons home made chocolate cakes which are highly recommended. There is no drive over waste outlet but it was no hassle to empty our tank by bucket. We were towing a car and came from the North via the M5 J26 which left about 5/6 miles of quite narrow roads from Wellington. In future I would leave at J25 and come via the Taunton ring road. This just leaves a mile of narrow roads to the site from the junction in Wiveliscombe and we found it much easier going when we returned that way. All in all, a very pleasant stay, highly recommended and we will certainly visit again as it is handily placed for exploring the towns of Tiverton, Lynton, Taunton, and the Exmoor area.

This was about our fifth or sixth visit to this campsite and it has long been one of our favourites. The facilities are excellent and the welcome is always very friendly. Can’t fault it.

Lovely visit with only the occasional quiet buzz of the farm in the background. Great facilities which were exceptionally clean. Dogs welcome but only on the lead.

Absolutely fantastic facilities for a small certificated site. Very clean and plenty of space. Very friendly welcome from Alison who gave us useful tourist information. Went into Minehead and got the open top bus to Lynmouth, a lovely day out. Peaceful and relaxing site, enjoyed watching the cattle and the ice cream in the vending machines. Would definitely recommend this site.

It was a last minute decision to spend the night away and the site chosen based on earlier reviews and the fact it was not too far away. I am pleased to report that it lived up to expectations. It was tidy, it was clean, the facilities were excellent and the welcome from Alison was exceptional. Alison has a lot of very useful and interesting local knowledge which she was happy to share and which helped us plan for the following day. We shall return and stay longer.

This is one of our favourite ‘bolt holes’ being relatively close to home, in a lovely quiet spot and having first class, super clean, facilities. The pitches (many with EHU) are large, ensuring privacy, and the facilities block has two showers, basins and toilets per sex (have never queued, ever!), with a washing up area, an information area with a mass of leaflets, and even maps and walk booklets to borrow – and an amazing little ‘shop’ area with vending machines selling local produce, where you can also hire a fire pit and wood. You can walk for miles from the site, visit the beautiful Quantocks, coast and Exmoor – or just sit, read and relax, with only cows and birds for company. Wiveliscombe is a nice little town and an easy walk away, but you do have to be careful of some speedy cars on the narrow road at times. And, last but definitely not least, there is the lovely friendly welcome from Alison – who has a wealth of local knowledge and information at her fingertips, and who checks in every day on the ‘campers’! This is truly a little gem and we would 100% recommend.
